2. What personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

3. Where we get your information

Some of the personal data we hold, such as an address linked to a planning application, comes from publicly available planning register information published online by Leeds City Council and neighbouring authorities. This information is publicly accessible as part of the statutory planning process.

Other information, such as your name and phone number, comes directly from you when you submit a form on our website.

4. Why we process your data and our lawful basis

Purpose Lawful basis
Contacting homeowners whose address appears on a public planning application, to let them know about our introduction service Legitimate interests
Processing a homeowner's request for a quote submitted through our website Consent / performance of a request
Processing a builder's sign up to receive leads Consent / performance of a contract
Keeping records for accounting and legal purposes Legal obligation

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered that our processing is proportionate, limited to publicly available information, and that individuals would reasonably expect to be contacted about relevant local services. You have the right to object at any time, see section 7.

5. Who we share your data with

If you are a homeowner requesting a quote, we share your name, phone number, and project details with one independent local builder who we believe is suitable, so that they can contact you directly.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your data for marketing purposes with any company outside our own service.

We may share data with service providers who help us run our business, such as our hosting provider, database provider, and mail delivery provider, who process data on our behalf under their own confidentiality obligations.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep homeowner and builder contact details for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our service, and no longer than 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we are required to keep it longer by law.
